About Eagle Crest Camp
and How to Get There

Eagle Crest Camp offers 297 beautiful acres located atop bluffs overlooking the Illinois River near Washburn, Illinois. The setting is a haven of fun, fellowship and spiritual growth for thousands of children and adults each summer.

Camp activities include swimming, wilderness training, crafts, hiking, nature studies, games, singing, campfire programs, and much more.

How to Get to Eagle Crest

Get driving directions from where you live.

 

 

  • At the Route 17 junction take a left, go over the river into Lacon and turn right at Route 26. 

  • Go approximately 8 miles looking for Salvation Army/ Eagle Crest Camp sign (Columbia Road). 

  • Turn left and go up steep hill and continue for about 2½ miles. 

  • When you see the flags on the right enter, go past the house on your left, take a left and follow the road back to the camp office.
